QUICK AND EASY FALU SAUSAGE STEW
Snabb allt-i-ett-gryta med falukorv

Serves 4

5 potatoes
1 large carrot
1 leek
butter or oil for frying
salt, pepper
3.2 cups meat or vegetable
bouillon from cube
0.2 cup coarsely ground mustard
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon dried thyme
0.4 cup cream
14 oz Falu sausage or suitable
replacement
corn starch, Maizena type

Decoration:
chopped parsley


Peel potatoes and carrot. Dice the potatoes and slice the carrot and leek. Sauté potatoes and vegetables in a large frying pan and add spices. Fry for a couple of minutes, then add bouillon, mustard, thyme and cream. Let it all simmer together until the potatoes start to get tender.

Slice the sausage and cut the slices into half moons. Fry them until slightly colored and add them to the pan. Simmer for a few minutes, flavor to taste and add more spices if necessary. Thicken if needed to desired consistency.

Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve, with a salad if you wish.
