Pork chops with mustard cream - Fläskkotletter med senapsgrädde

PORK CHOPS WITH MUSTARD CREAM
Fläskkotletter med senapsgrädde

Mustard always goes well with pork. You can vary the everyday chops by serving them with this mustard-flavoured sauce.

4 servings

4 pork chops, in all approx 1 lb
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
1 teaspoon salt
white or black pepper
3 onions
1 to 2 tablespoons French-type mustard
2/3 cup bouillon
2/3 cup cream

Make a cut in the rind of the chops and fry in a little fat in a frying pan, 3 to 4 minutes on each side. Flavour with salt and pepper, put the chops on a serving dish and keep warm.

Peel and chop the onions and brown them in the frying pan. Add mustard, bouillon and cream and let the sauce boil on low heat for 3 to 4 minutes. Pour it over the pork chops and serve with boiled potatoes and Brussels sprouts, or anything else that you fancy.

Instead of mustard you can flavour the sauce with some curry and finely chopped apple.

Enjoy!

Bella
