Bacon Pasta - Baconpasta

BACON PASTA
Baconpasta

The combo of the sweet corn and the salty bacon sets the taste for this great pasta dish. 

Serves 4

10½ oz pasta of your choice
5½ oz bacon
1 leek
2 garlic cloves
1 can corn, approx 12 oz
0.8 cup crème fraîche sweet pepper & chili
(we can buy it already flavored)
0.4 cup black olives with seeds


Boil the pasta. Shred bacon and leek and peel and chop the garlic. Fry the bacon until crisp in a hot frying pan and drain it on a paper towel. Drain the corn. Heat up the crème fraîche in a saucepan and stir in leek, garlic, corn and black olives. Let it all boil for a few minutes and flavor with salt and pepper.

Mix the sauce with the pasta and sprinkle with the crisp bacon.
