CURRY CHICKEN
Currykyckling
The lovely smell of curry when you make this stew …
Serves 4
1 chicken, approx 2 lbs
3 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 to 2½ teaspoons curry
3 finely chopped onions
1 tablespoon flour
1½ teaspoons salt
1 cup chicken bouillon
chopped parsley
Cut the chicken in serving-sized pieces and brown them in some of the fat in a frying pan. Transfer to a pot.
Sizzle curry and onions in remaining fat until the onions are tender. Add this to the pot. Sprinkle with flour and salt, dilute with bouillon and let the chicken cook slowly, covered, for about 30 minutes. Sprinkle with chopped parsley when serving.
Enjoy!
