Beef Patties with Dill Sauce - Färsbiffar med dillsås

BEEF PATTIES WITH DILL SAUCE
Färsbiffar med dillsås

Serves 2

9 oz ground beef
1 small egg
½ teaspoon salt
pepper
½ tablespoon butter or margarine
0.4 cup cream, 15% fat or the like
0.6 cup water
½ veal bouillon cube
approx 1 tablespoon Maizena
1 tablespoon honey
1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
0.2 cup chopped dill

For serving:
10 oz carrots
1 large red onion
½ tablespoon butter or margarine


Mix ground meat, egg, salt and pepper. Shape into patties and fry them in fat.

Bring cream, water and bouillon cube to a boil. Thicken with Maizena and flavor with honey, lemon juice and chopped dill.

Serve with pieces of carrots and onions that you've fried in some fat and flavored with salt and pepper.
