FALU SAUSAGE STEW WITH CURRY AND LEEK
Falukorvsgryta med curry och purjolök
Serves 4
1 lb 5 oz Falu sausage or replacement
2 tablespoons butter for frying
2 teaspoons curry
2 teaspoons tomato paste
1 shredded leek
0.4 cup water
½ teaspoon sambal oelek
0.4 cup cream
some salt
Shred and fry the sausage in butter with curry and tomato paste. Transfer to a pot. Sauté the leek in some butter and stir this into the pot. Add water, sambal oelek and cream and simmer for a minute or so. Flavor to taste with salt.
Serve the sausage stew with new potatoes, yogurt and a tomato salad.
