MUSTARD CHICKEN WITH BACON AND CHIVES
Senapskyckling med bacon och gräslök
Serves 4
4 chicken breast fillets, approx 1 lb 3 oz
2 tablespoons butter
1 teaspoon salt
some pepper
0.8 cup chicken bouillon
2 tablespoons flour
0.8 cup cooking cream
2 teaspoons Chinese soy sauce
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
4.4 oz streaky bacon
2 tablespoons chopped chives
fresh thyme (optional)
Fry the chicken on all sides in butter. Flavor with salt and pepper. Pour on the bouillon and bring to a boil. Mix flour and Cream and beat this thickening in the pan. Add soy sauce and mustard and simmer for about 8 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through.
Dice and fry the bacon until crisp in a frying pan. Sprinkle the chicken with bacon and chives.
Serve with potato wedges in the oven and broccoli and decorate with fresh thyme (optional).
