Filled Minute Steaks - Fylld lövbiff

FILLED MINUTE STEAKS
Fylld lövbiff

The popular minute steak in a different version, filled with Dijon mustard and grated horseradish and served on a hot plate in the pleasant company of a grilled tomato and raw-fried potatoes. And if anyone wants sauce (and you do, believe me!) there's that as well. But go easy on the filling if you have a sensitive palate - it's hot. This is another one of my family favorites.

Serves 4

4 large minute steaks, each approx 5 oz
1 teaspoon salt
4 teaspoons Dijon mustard
2 teaspoons grated horseradish
2 tablespoons butter or margarine

Sauce:
0.8 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
salt and pepper if necessary, but both the mustard
and the horseradish are salty

Sprinkle some salt on the meat and spread with mustard and horseradish. Fold them and fry them in some fat in a hot frying pan for 2 to 3 minutes per side. Take up and keep warm.

Pour the cream in the pan and thicken for a few minutes. Flavor with mustard and optional salt and pepper.

Serve with the sauce, raw-fried potato wedges and grilled tomatoes.

Enjoy!

Bella
