MEAT LOAF FANTASY

Serves 4
1 lb ground meat (50% beef, 50% pork)
3 tablespoons finely chopped onion
3 tablespoons finely chopped celery
1 finely chopped garlic clove
2 tablespoons oil
0.4 cup red wine
2 slices white bread
salt, black pepper
finely crumbled dried sage
1 egg
For serving:
chili sauce
soured cream
Sauté onion, celery and garlic in oil without coloring, until tender. Add red wine and simmer it all for 5 minutes. Trim the crusts off the bread, finely dice it and add it to the mixture. Allow to cool. Pour the wine mixture in the meat, flavor with salt, black pepper and sage.
Stir in the egg and work the ground meat well. Shape to a roll and put it in a greased, oven-proof pan. Heat the oven to 350F and fry the meat for about 50 minutes. Make sure it's done.
Serve with chili sauce and soured cream in separate Bowls, and also some boiled vegetables.
