LIME WHITE CHOCOLATE SQUARES

10½ oz white chocolate
4½ oz butter
1.4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
½ teaspoon salt
3 eggs
0.4 cup sugar
2 limes (grated zest from 1 lime
+ 3 tablespoons fresh lime juice)
Icing:
0.8 cup powdered sugar
1½ tablespoons water
lime zest
Preheat the oven to 347F.
Break the chocolate in pieces and melt it with butter in a saucepan, while stirring. Mix flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar and salt. Beat eggs and sugar until fluffy. Finely grate the lime zest, then squeeze out the required amount of juice.
Mix chocolate, lime zest, juice and flour mixture into the egg batter. Pour in a roasting pan, approx 8 x 12 inches, lined with baking paper. Bake for about 25 minutes and allow to cool.
Icing:
Mix powdered sugar and water and drizzle this over the cake.
Cut in squares and decorate with lime zest.
