BREADED FISH WITH COLD DILL SAUCE
Panerad fisk med kall dillsås
Serves 2
10.6 oz haddock fillets or other whitefish
0.2 cup flour
1 egg
2 tablespoons dried breadcrumbs
2 tablespoons flaked almonds
salt, white pepper
1 tablespoon butter or margarine
Dill sauce:
0.4 cup soured cream
2 tablespoons chopped dill
fresh juice from ½ lemon
Cut the fish in suitable pieces, turn them in flour and then in beaten egg. Last, turn it in breadcrumbs mixed with flaked almonds, salt and pepper. Fry in the fat for about 2 minutes on each side.
Dill sauce:
Stir soured cream, dill and lemon juice and flavor to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve the fish with boiled potatoes, lemon wedges and a salad of sliced radishes, cucumber and dill (this is just a suggestion).
