COLORFUL FISH STEW
Färgglad fiskgryta
Serves 4
Approx 14 oz frozen fillets of cod
2 tablespoons flour
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
1 teaspoon paprika
1½ teaspoons salt
some dried thyme
2 tablespoons water
approx 8 oz frozen mixed vegetables of your choice
Cut the frozen fish in approx 3/4 inch thick slices. Coat them with flour. Melt the fat in a shallow, wide pot that you later can use for serving the fish. Stir in the paprika. Turn the floured fish in the fat and then Place them in the bottom of the pan. Add salt, thyme and water and "sprinkle" with the still frozen veggie mix. Simmer on low heat for about 12 minutes and serve with boiled rice or potatoes.
