Hot Pasta Sauce with Spinach - Het pastasås med spenat

HOT PASTA SAUCE WITH SPINACH
Het pastasås med spenat

Let the sauce boil properly and you will get a fantastic pasta dish without a large amount of work or a too deep dive into the wallet.

Serves 2

Pasta of your choice for 2 people

Sauce:
1 can crushed tomatoes, approx 14 oz
approx 1 3/4 oz frozen spinach
½ vegetable bouillon cube
only just 1/3 fresh, finely chopped chili fruit
1 crushed garlic clove
½ to 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
black pepper

Topping:
5 oz bacon


Mix the ingredients for the pasta sauce in a pot and simmer uncovered for 20 to 30 minutes to a suitably thick pasta sauce. Dilute with some water if you like. Stir occasionally so that it doesn't burn.

Boil the pasta. Shred the bacon and fry until crisp on medium heat. Drain on a paper towel.

Serve the pasta in deep plates, spoon the sauce over and top with shredded bacon. Don't forget the salad, it's excellent with dishes like this one!
