BERRY COBBLER
Bärcobbler
Serves 6
14 oz blueberries and blackberries
3 tablespoons cane sugar
1 tablespoons potato starch
Dough:
3½ oz butter
0.4 cup sugar
0.6 cup oats
0.6 cup flour
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
3 tablespoons heavy cream
1 egg
For serving:
vanilla sauce
Preheat oven to 347F.
Mix the berries with sugar and potato starch. Put the berries in a large oven-proof pan, diameter approx 9 inches.
Dough:
Stir room-tempered butter and sugar until smooth. Add oats, flour, vanilla sugar and baking powder. Add cream and egg and blend to a dough. Dab it out over the berries.
Bake in the middle of the oven for about 40 minutes. Serve with vanilla sauce.
