QUICK AND EASY BEEF STEW
Snabba biffgrytan

Delicious stew made from shredded minute steaks, onions and leafy spinach - why not give you and/or your family something extra on a boring Monday?

Serves 4

Approx 14 oz minute steaks
1 onion
butter or margarine
½ teaspoon salt
4.4 oz fresh leafy spinach
0.2 cup water
0.8 cup low-fat crème fraîche (if you can find some
crème fraîche flavored with "French herbs", use that)
8 cherry tomatoes


Shred the meat. Peel and cut the onion in wedges. Fry meat and onion in some fat in a frying pan and flavor with salt. Stir in the spinach and let it fry with the other ingredients in the pan. Add water and crème fraîche and bring to a boil. Split the tomatoes and gently turn them into the stew.

Serve with rice, potatoes or pasta and a salad.
