QUICK POTATO KASSLER GRATIN
Snabb potatis- och kasslergratäng
Serves 4
1,7 lbs ready-made potato gratin
14 oz sliced kassler (warm-smoked, boneless loin
of pork)
1 diced tomato
1 diced sweet pepper
1 tablespoon fresh chopped thyme
0.8 cup grated cheese
Spread out the potato gratin in a large, oven-proof dish. Make space in the middle for the meat and Place it there. Cover with tomatoes, sweet pepper, thyme and grated cheese and cook at 437F for 15 minutes. Serve with carrot sticks.
Some may call it cheating to use ready-made stuff and I don't often do it, but where's the harm in it when you don't have the time, interest or strength to cook from scratch? :-D
