SALMON MIX WITH ONIONS AND HORSERADISH
Laxröra med lök och pepparrot
10 servings (for buffet)
14 oz fillet of salmon, smoked
½ red onion
7 oz cottage cheese
0.4 cup creme fraiche or sour cream
2 tablespoons chopped chives
2 tablespoons chopped dill
1½ tablespoons grated horseradish
salt, black pepper
Decoration:
chopped chives
Remove skin and bones from the salmon and mash it up in a bowl with a fork. Peel and finely chop the onion. Add onion, cottage cheese, creme fraiche, chives and dill and blend to a smooth mix. Flavor to taste with horseradish, salt and black pepper, transfer to a serving bowl and decorate with chopped chives.
